Pathways to the Future

National Digital Literacy Programs

HEIRC provides national technology, training and programs to help students succeed with national certifications in technology.

  

  1. 22 + program targets adult high school graduation with the use of technology by providing programming and computer usage, as well as tutoring and educational follow-up. 
  2. Senior digital training program for basic and second-career technological training. Providing more detailed digital literacy for higher end uses. Financial assistance for courses using Coursera and other software opportunities.
  3. Veterans’ technical certification programs and workforce integration support. 
  4. Career based certification and workforce support including technological reintegration programs. Providing technical training to ethnic groups to support closing the gap within the workforce environment. 
  5. Enabling ethnic groups to develop skills otherwise denied them or which they found difficult to acquire will present them with more profitable job opportunities. Outsource program for high school and middle school students in the CTE programs.  

National Youth Out of School-time Program

HEIRC is launching a National OST Program for Youth 16-21 for education, technology and certification.


  1. Specific materials that result in technical certification programs and workforce integration support.
  2. Providing one on one tutoring and technical assistance in working with the training programs. 
  3. Providing a comfortable learning environment without additional distractions that lead to high dropout rates. 
  4. Acceptance of single parent youth and provide opportunities for childcare during training times. 
  5. Providing a variety of time slots to accommodate single parents and job schedules.
  6. Providing technical training to ethnic groups to support closing the gap within the workforce environment. Enabling ethnic groups to develop skills otherwise denied them.
  7. Providing programs with guest speakers, presentations, seminars, technological expos, and day-long conventions exposing them to the world of technology. 
  8. Provide internship opportunities for technical and pre-technical opportunities.
